Jury Instructions

Current Jury Groups

These instructions are only for the current groups (A1, B1, C1, D1, E1, F1) on-call for the 3-week period starting Monday, May 7, 2012 and ending Friday, May 25,  2012. Due to budget reductions, jury shuttle bus service is not available at this time. Also, the vending area does not have a coffee machine, so you may bring your own coffee. If the Justice Center is closed due to severe weather conditions, this information will be broadcast through local Radio or TV communications. You can also call the Jury Commissioner's office for weather updates. Also, if the jury website is not available, always telephone (440) 328-2240/328-2241, daily after 3:30 pm, for your updated jury instructions. We receive a high volume of calls, so if you reach this recording during normal business hours, please try again. 
 
1.)  All Current Jury Groups:  A1 - B1 - C1 - D1 - E1 - F1  --  These groups do NOT have to report for jury duty on Thursday, May 17, 2012.  However, ALL groups must check back on Thursday, May 17, 2012, after 3:30 pm, for your updated instructions.


For New Groups (A2-F2):  Starting Tuesday, May 29 - Friday, June 15, 2012  --  These instructions are only for NEW groups (A2-F2) starting Tuesday, May 29, 2012.  Please read your summons and both sides of the jury guide sheet before phoning the jury commissioners office with questions, only between the hours of 10 am - 12 pm, and 1 pm - 2 pm.  You may also fax your juror questionnaire to the Jury Commissioners at (440) 328-2242.  Be advised that we receive a high volume of telephone calls, so your patience is appreciated.

NOTE TO NEW GROUPS:  (A2-F2) -- Your first call-in is Saturday, May 26, 2012, or anytime over the weekend.  You may also log on to the jury website, www.loraincounty.us/jury, as well, for your instructions.  Thank you for your cooperation.
